We invite you to participate in the development of the Aortic Ring for all, with the New Pulse project, an innovation we are determined to make accessible to as many people as possible.

The NewPulse project

Used in over 3,500 patients worldwide, the NewPulse aortic ring has demonstrated exceptional long-term clinical results:

Restored life expectancy,
Normal quality of life, without particular sports restrictions,
Low risk of reoperation.

Each year, 40,000 patients in Western countries alone could benefit from this groundbreaking repair technique.

And between 200,000 to 300,000 people worldwide!

But today, this medical breakthrough is threatened.

Following several scandals related to fraudulent medical devices (breast implants, defective implants…), certification standards in Europe (CE) and the United States (FDA) have been strengthened.

This means fully recertifying the ring according to the new standards.

But the small Canadian company that manufactures it today cannot finance this process alone, yet it is essential to continue providing care.

The deadline is imminent

In 2027, the old certifications expire.
❌ Without recertification, no patient will be able to benefit from this technique starting in 2027.

What we need: 1.7 million euros.

This is the minimum budget required to:

Initiate CE and FDA recertification
Fund the required additional studies
Resume industrial manufacturing within a compliant framework
Create the foundations for a viable, accessible, and international model

Time is running out.

Faced with this urgency, we decided to reinvent everything:

A medical, technological, and human project, supported by a triple structure serving patients:

A non-profit association: to unite patients, caregivers, and citizens around the NewPulse mission.
An endowment fund: to mobilize philanthropic donations and accelerate the project’s development.
An industrial startup: to produce, certify, train, and distribute the device worldwide with a solid and ethical economic model.

Our objectives:

Develop the ring community bringing together caregivers and patients
Launch the certification process according to the new European (CE) and American (FDA) standards
Mobilize the technical expertise necessary for the project's development (law, finance, patents, research and development, training, manufacturing, distribution, communication, lobbying...)
Involve public authorities and health institutions in the project
Prepare industrial manufacturing processes
Build an economic model that will guarantee an accessible price for all, including in less favored countries
Create a research center and train surgeons from around the world
Continue research to further improve aortic valve repair and replacement devices
